Weekend in Photos – June 13, 2020
Our weekend in photos:
Saturday morning started with a quick and easy breakfast and then we headed out to Downtown McKinney to walk around the square before it go too hot! We didn’t do any shopping because the virus is spreading like wildfire around here lately and we are trying to stay as healthy as possible before our little girl comes, but we did lots of window shopping which was way cheaper and just as fun.
Plus, I found these lovely succulents growing in a window box.
We enjoyed lots of outdoor time on Saturday. Richard colored with chalk when we got home.
And then later, after his nap, he and Lane went for a swim! It was such a fun, sweet, relaxing day. We are trying to enjoy as much time with Richard as our only child as possible.
Sunday we took it easy. Lane made these delicious breakfast taquitos (coming to the blog soon!). We did some cleaning, read books, played with some puzzles.
We got some things ready for our baby girl – like these precious swaddle blankets and bows.
You can order the blankets here: Briar Rose Swaddle Blankets
And you can order the bows here: Baby Nylon Bows
We had four muslin swaddle blankets for Richard when he was born and after about a week we went out and bought more because he loved them so much. He still sleeps with one of his blankets every nap/night and since he loves them all I can easily keep them washed and ready without having to postpone naptime or bedtime while waiting for his 1 blanket to get washed. We knew he wouldn’t want to share with his little sister when she gets here, so we bought some new, girly blankets that will be just for her!
And then after we all took great afternoon naps we enjoyed some yummy and tender garlic lime grilled chicken (also coming to the blog soon).
